Process

Step 1:

• Client and architectural designer meet to discuss and identify interest, needs, dreams
• Considerations by designer include client’s wish list, property opportunity – limitation, renewable, innovative, sustainable building methods and municipality – HOA requirements
• Cost and budget identify through dialogue and research
• Contractor – builder consideration. ADS may provide you with professional guidance toward responsible builder

Step 2:

• Architectural design development. Designer transforms information into magic
• Concept reveal – client presentation and discussion
• 3D model and Virtual Reality Experience
• Design adjustments to client’s approval of design
• Integrated design sessions. Designer, structural engineer, energy modeler, builder… brainstorm to consider all aspects of project

Step 3:

• Development of construction drawings for submission to appropriate permitting office
• Additional integrated design sessions
• Construction permit issued
• Contractor – builder estimate

Step 4 (Optional):

• Construction administration (designer follow-up with site visits as requested or needed by contractor or client)
• Interior finishes coordination (flooring, colors, cabinets, counters, fixtures…)
• Yard design and layout
• Energy modeling and analysis
• 3D rendering

Step 5:

• Completion and Contentment!
