Our Process
Step 1:
- Client and architectural designer meet to discuss and identify interest, needs, dreams
- Considerations by designer include client’s wish list, property opportunity – limitation, renewable, innovative, sustainable building methods and municipality – HOA requirements
- Cost and budget identify through dialogue and research
- Contractor – builder consideration. ADS may provide you with professional guidance toward responsible builder
Step 2:
- Architectural design development. Designer transforms information into magic
- Concept reveal – client presentation and discussion
- 3D model and Virtual Reality Experience
- Design adjustments to client’s approval of design
- Integrated design sessions. Designer, structural engineer, energy modeler, builder… brainstorm to consider all aspects of project
Step 3:
- Development of construction drawings for submission to appropriate permitting office
- Additional integrated design sessions
- Construction permit issued
- Contractor – builder estimate
Step 4 (Optional):
- Construction administration (designer follow-up with site visits as requested or needed by contractor or client)
- Interior finishes coordination (flooring, colors, cabinets, counters, fixtures…)
- 3D rendering
Step 5:
- Completion and Contentment!
